Project Lead, Hubbub Enterprise

Location: based in Central London

Contract: full time

Start date: As soon as possible

Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 per annum

The Role

In a typical week a Project Lead might be running a coffee cup recycling campaign in a busy town centre, creating a plan and budget for an upcoming project, and delivering a presentation at a conference. 

You will take responsibility for developing and managing projects from the first conversation to the final report. You understand the intended social and environmental impact for each project, and ensure this is prioritised throughout. 

You will create budgets and project plans and work with your colleagues, clients and external stakeholders to deliver them effectively. 

You will play an active part in developing Hubbub Enterprise’s strategy. You will explore new business opportunities and help to make the most of our existing relationships. You are as comfortable talking to corporate clients as you are with local government and the non-profit sector.

Commercial Lead, Hubbub Enterprise

The Role

As Commercial Lead your first priority will be the Ballot Bin. We have manufactured and sold this unique ‘voting ashtray’ since 2016, and it is used in over 30 countries around the world. Cigarette butts are a ‘hidden’ single-use plastic and the most common items found in beach cleans. The desire to tackle the pollution they cause is growing around the worldandso are our sales. You will take ownership of our sales & marketing, and manage our customer and supplier relationships, to make the most of this product’s potential  

You will also be responsible for Plastic Fishing in London’s Docklands: developing our offer to businesses, overseeing sales, marketing and delivery, and ensuring we generate a profit to share with our local school partner and parent charity

Creative Partner

The Role

If you're interested in tackling the environmental impact of single-use plastic this could be the role for you. We're seeking a person to lead on the delivery of two significant new corporate campaigns. Candidates must have an ability to deliver complex multi-relational campaigns, be a persuasive communicator, be committed to deliver practical change at scale and share the values of Hubbub.

Sustainability Internship

Contract: 6 month internship

Salary: £20,000 per annum with potential opportunity beyond the 6 month period

The Role

The internship will gain a wide range of experience providing direct support to a range of campaigns tackling plastic pollution, food waste, fast fashion and air pollution. We're seeking a highly enthusiastic person who has a genuine interest in sustainability and whose ambition is to bring the issue into the mainstream through innovative and impactful,  community-based activities. We're looking for candidates who thrive on challenges, have an active interest in current affairs and who can work confidently under their own initiative.
