Solving the sticky problem of chewing gum litter with the worlds first recycled, re-chewing gum. A delicious like-new way to fund the cleaning of local streets.

Did you know that the average piece of chewing gum costs just 3p to buy, but £1.50 to remove from the streets? We’ve been chewing over this problem for a long time, and we’re excited to finally get this idea (and a lot of littered gum!) off the ground.

We’re proud to announce the launch of Hubbub-bubba, the world’s first recycled re-chewing gum.

Sorry, what?

Yes, you heard us right. We’ve created this bespoke product by carefully scraping and collecting gum off the streets of littering locations from all across the UK. The gum is then deep cleaned, softened, re-flavoured with our unique blend of peppermint and packaged ready to sell.

It’s a very low impact and low waste production process, and the best part is that the profits generated from selling the gum will all be used to fund further street cleaning, so it will pay for itself in no time!

What are other people saying?

Blind taste tests with 40 participants of self-proclaimed chewing-gum-lovers that showed 84% of them couldn’t tell the difference between the leading brand of chewing gum and Hubbub’s re-chewing gum.

“We’ve run a lot of campaigns on saving good food before it goes to waste, but we’ve never literally recycled food before. This is such a turning point and I’m excited for the future potential to recycle more ingredients - how about bananas?” - Hubbub-bubba founder, Chewin Restostick

You’ve probably all seen rounds of gum littered on the pavements in your local area, now there’s a chance to not only clean up your streets, but chow down on a delicious new snack at the same time.

And, if you made it this far without being put off chewing gum forever, we just wanted to say…. Happy April Fool’s Day. :-D
