CEO and Founder

What's your main area of work at Hubbub?

Constantly on the hunt for new ideas that ensure Hubbub delivers the biggest possible impact in tackling the scale of the environmental challenges we face. This involves numerous conversations with potential collaborators. My role is also to help support and develop the team ensuring that Hubbub is an inspiring place to work.

What's your favourite campaign and why?

I would choose Community Fridges as they are delivering social and environmental benefits and are supporting communities across the UK.

What did life before Hubbub look like?

Before Hubbub I set up the charity Global Action Plan which I am delighted to say is flourishing and delivering amazing campaigns on air pollution. I established PaperRound which is one of the largest recycling businesses in London. Previously I was responsible for fundraising at Friends of the Earth, I created new businesses in Plymouth and in the very dim and distant past helped produce a BBC youth prgramme.

What else are you passionate about?

Cooking, walking in the wilder areas of the South-West, collecting modern ceramics, playing tennis and football badly and suffering the on-going pains of supporting Plymouth Argyle

What would you eat if you only had one meal left?

A mass of fresh Cornish seafood in the garden of the Barbara Hepworth museum in St Ives

Who’s your Eco crush?

Jonathon Porritt was an inspirational leader at Friends of the Earth.
