Mark Breen Creative Partner What's your main area of work at Hubbub? Everything I do relates to people and food. Through Kitchen Love we worked with businesses to renovate community spaces into top spec cookery schools and then delivered cooking sessions with those communities. At the other end of the spectrum I work with big food retailers to pilot and upscale behaviour change techniques to help people shop, cook and eat more sustainably. What's your favourite campaign and why? I have loved everything I have been involved in. I'm a people person so in terms of one off moments - supporting people to cook delicious food that's good for them and the planet through Kitchen Love was a real high. The amazing amounts of food waste we helped people save together with Tesco also gave me a spring in my step for some time. What did life before Hubbub look like? I've done lots of different things and still do. I'm a clasically trained chef with a background in food policy and communications. Try fitting that on a 2 page CV.... I still regularly chef and teach cooking both as part of my role within Hubbub and outside. What else are you passionate about? Food is my true love. But when not in the kitchen I really enjoy climbing, cycling and going to gigs and festivals. What would you eat if you only had one meal left? I'm not yet ready to face the fact that one day there will be a last meal.
