What's your main area of work at Hubbub?

I joined to help bring our social content to life and make sure that all the glorious info we share gets the attention it deserves (because it's V important stuff). I also do a lot of work on food waste across FoodSavvy and the Community Fridge Network.

What's your favourite campaign and why?

Design by Nature because opportunities for student designers interested in sustainable futures are hard to find (speaking from experience). It always conjures up some amazing projects from people who are already passionate about the environment at a young age, which is really valuable.

What did life before Hubbub look like?

I've dipped in and out of many things! I was a chef for a few years, because...well, food. I've travelled a lot (plenty of overground travel, don't worry). I studied design in Brighton and more recently I've been a design and marketing consultant for a diversity & inclusion consultancy. I've always been interested in using design as a tool for positive change, be it social or environmental, so it feels like i've landed in a good place to do that.

What else are you passionate about?

I probably spend 70% of my spare time cooking and have been on a sourdough journey since 2018.

I also love cycling although I know embaressingly little about bikes. Then of course there's the three M's - movies, meditation and mojitos.

What would you eat if you only had one meal left?

A big fat pizza and a cheesecake followed by regret and belly rubs.

Who’s your Eco crush?
