Enter the #InTheLoop art competition now! Wimbledon #InTheLoop is a collaborative campaign with Sustainable Merton, Hubbub and funded by evian as part of its commitment to sustainability, to make recycling easy and fun, whether you’re a local or visiting Wimbledon for The Championships. This May, we will be introducing colourful new on-street recycling bins to Wimbledon Town Centre and educating the public on how to recycle correctly while out and about. Recycling on-the-go helps boost the number of plastic bottles and cans that are recycled and kept #InTheLoop. This supports a more circular economy and reduces the amount of virgin plastic and aluminium required for new products. Not to mention, it leaves you (the humble recycler) with a warm glowing feeling inside! You can learn more about the campaign and how you can get involved on the main campaign page. To celebrate the launch of the Wimbledon #InTheLoop, we’re launching an art competition for young people to give them a chance to have their artwork featured around Wimbledon this summer, as well as chance to win some incredible prizes! The five winning designs will be displayed on the recycling bins in Wimbledon during The Championships and throughout summer to form a mini ‘Art Trail’ for local residents and tennis spectators to explore.
