Roger lives in South London and attends Unity Works, an organisation providing employment support for those with learning difficulties.

He usually works as a kitchen porter for a catering company but has been on furlough since April. He lives alone and has found the recent lockdowns very quiet and lonely.  Roger usually catches up face-to-face with his careworker, Rosanna, at least a few times a week, so restrictions enforced due to Covid-19 presented some challenges for him. However, Roger was fortunate enough to receive an iPad through our Community Calling project, which has allowed him to have video calls with Rosanna.

“I speak with Rosanna about once a week and I really like using my iPad, especially as it’s got such a big screen!”
