Design Intern

As a Graphic Design graduate from Falmouth University, Michelle has spent the last few years exploring the Cornish coast, enjoying the odd fish and chips and developing a passion for design which tackles social and environmental issues.

Michelle believes fun, playful design can positively change audience behaviour and challenge perceptions. Some of her favourite projects to date include; a playful campaign that encourages office workers to escape the office at lunch time, reconnecting Amnesty International with younger generations and branding a sustainable building initiative.

Since graduating, she has been busy gaining experience at a variety of design agencies including Thomas Matthews and most recently Sheard & Hudson, where she enjoyed working on exhibition designs for the National Trust.

Since joining, Michelle has helped out on designs for the Waste less, Save More campaign, created a Community Fridge Handbook, generated litter prevention ideas for community football events and spent a day sorting through a a mountain of baby clothes for the Gift A Bundle campaign. She is happy to have found a role where she can use her creative skills for good causes and have plenty of opportunities to step away from her desk to explore new places and meet new people.
