Creative Co-Ordinator

Isabel joined Hubbub in September 2015, coming from a creative and linguist background. She stumbled into the field of fashion and sustainability, feeling disillusioned with the current fashion industry but wanting to do something positive.

Outside of Hubbub she is obsessed with making. She lives in the inspiring hub of Brighton where she has a small jewellery business working with waste materials. Isabel was recently awarded an enterprise growth grant to develop her ideas of engaging people with the value of materials. She is part of a theatre community and believes in the power of turning studies into stories. Isabel is one of the founders of Brighton Repair Café, has worked for Brighton Fashion Week and in her own time likes to learn new practical skills. Next up she hopes to learn the craft of shoemaking and then complete her quest of making an entire outfit out of scrap.
