Fly-tipping is a big issue in Oldham, costing the council a whopping £1 million per year to clean up.

#LoveWhereYouLive is a project to tackle fly-tipping by creating cleaner, greener communal spaces around the town. Here are some ways that you can get involved:

1) Visit the alleyway transformation exhibition

Join us for a pop-up exhibition showcasing the transformed alleyways and free events. Come along to see what your neighbours have been up to and how they've managed to transform wasted space into communal gardens for relaxing and playing. For timings and details click here.

2) Dispose of bulky items

3) Transform your alley

If you’re feeling inspired to transform your alleyway then download our inspiration guide containing tips, advice and instructions to get you started.

To help you on your way we're also giving away the contents of the pop-up alleyway garden as well as support from Oldham Council. For a chance to win just send an email with the subject ‘ALLEY APPLICATION' to [email protected] by the 31st July 2018.
